The Belgian Roast Masters is the roasting competition at the annual Brussels Coffee Show, held each November at Gare Maritime, Tour & Taxis in Brussels. Unlike standardized-lot competitions, Belgian roasters compete with coffees from their own existing range, making the winning coffees directly purchasable.
Teams present two coffees roasted in their own facility — a filter and an espresso — across three stages: qualifying, semi-final, and final. Judges evaluate cup quality, roasting profile development, extraction skill, and clarity of presentation. The next edition runs November 6–8, 2026.
