At the Global Coffee Awards World Championship in San Salvador, El Salvador this past March, Lithuania’s Huracán Coffee was named the world’s best roaster — besting 30 finalists from 16 countries who advanced from more than 2,000 sample entries worldwide.
Huracán earned top honors in the Filter and Flat White Alternative categories. Greece’s KAFEA Terra and Colombia’s Café Cultor rounded out the top three.
